10 Gig thunderbolt adaptor for troubleshooting
*correction to the original post* Being a mac user, I forget not everyone has thunderbolt ports.
Many of the folks I talk to are deploying more and more 10Gig switches and links. ISP and network techs are used to plug in a laptop for a quick test. How do you do that with 10Gig fiber? Here is your answer!
This device is one way to help diagnose issues and connectivity on those 10Gig links. Just need thunderbolt on your laptop. You can insert a variety of SFPs and SPF+ modules. I have been using this for a few years, and it’s worth the investment. I use it on my Apple Macbook with zero issues.
